LYLE R. FRIED, CAP, ICADC, CHC, CRRA  

Lyle is a Board-Certified Addictions Professional, an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator, an Approved Training Provider for the Florida Certification Board, and a Certified Health Coach. He is a lifetime member of Psi Chi, the national honor society for Psychology. He is a member of the Florida Association of Drug Court Professionals and the National Association of Drug Court Professionals. He is currently the Chairman of the Board for the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) and also serves on their Compliance and Ethics committees. He is also on the Scientific Advisory Board for Geneus Health. 

As a training provider and consultant to treatment facilities Lyle has assisted many in the addictions treatment field improve their professionalism and gain board-certification. He has also guided several organizations in the process to obtain licensure and national accreditation, has helped to establish several successful treatment centers and continues to consult with many centers to help them improve outcomes. As a certified health coach, he assists clients in obtaining optimal health and the accompanying benefits, both physically and mentally. As a scientific advisor, he is involved in a range of research projects to improve outcomes and address addiction at the genetic and neurotransmitter level.

Lyle has previous experience as the Executive Director and Clinical Director of residential substance abuse treatment centers in Florida and served on the board of several homeless coalitions and other community organizations. He has worked extensively with the homeless, addicted, mentally ill, sexually abused and persons with disabilities. 
Lyle has been active in efforts to improve access to and quality of treatment services. He has met with senior White House Officials, state representatives, county and city officials to bridge the gaps in services and funding, as well as to remove the stigma of addiction. Additionally, Lyle has assisted in investigations into ethics/ legal violations involving predatory behaviors within the industry. 

Lyle is currently conducting ongoing research with Dr. Kenneth Blum on “Dopamine Homeostasis”, bringing functional balance to the dopamine reward pathway for Reward Deficiency Syndrome (RDS) as a means to mood stabilization and relapse prevention. Their research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Lyle is the world’s leading provider of Genetic Addiction Risk Score (GARS), genetic testing for RDS.

Lyle also works providing services to those in need in Haiti where he has helped locals receive an education, clean water, & medical services since early 2010. He is a board member of the Mont Sinai Orphanage and Widow Care Ministries in Bayonnais, Haiti. He served as President of his Rotary club and the Rotary District 6930 International Projects Chair and is currently Assistant Governor for Area 5. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and an ordained pastor. His primary passion is to help others obtain a better life.
